This MIL-PRF-6083 specification describes the characteristics and provides the requirements for one grade of petroleum base hydraulic fluid for use in the -54C to +135C temperature range. This fluid is rust inhibited and used both as a preservative for hydraulic systems and components as well as being an operational fluid. This hydraulic fluid will not be used for aircraft systems, aircraft ground support equipment, or the preservation of aircraft components. The hydraulic fluid is identified by Military Symbol OHT and NATO Symbol C-635.
This MIL-PRF-6085 specification covers one grade of aircraft instrument lubricating oil only. The low-volatility lubricating oil is identified by military symbol OAI and NATO Code No. 0-147.
This MIL-PRF-6086 specification covers two grades of petroleum-based lubricating oils for gears. This oil is identified by NATO Code Numbers O-153 and O-155.
This MIL-PRF-63460 describes the performance requirements and verification methods for a type of LUBRICANT, CLEANER AND PRESERVATIVE FOR WEAPONS AND WEAPONS SYSTEMS. This product is for use in cleaning, lubricating and short-term preservation of small and large caliber military weapons, operating in the temperature range of -51 to +71 degrees C (-60 to +160 degrees F).
This MIL-PRF-7024 specification covers the requirements for three types of calibrating fluid used in the calibration of aircraft fuel system components.
This MIL-PRF-81309 specification covers the requirements for two types and two classes containing two grades of ultra-thin film, water displacing, corrosion preventive compounds which may be applied by dipping, spraying, brushing or by spraying from self-pressurized containers.
This MIL-PRF-81322 specification covers one grade of general purpose, aircraft grease, NATO G-395, formulated to withstand operations at high speeds and a wide temperature range of -54 to 177 Deg. C (-65 to 350 Deg. F).
