Product Description

TT-I-1795A is an opaque marking stencil Ink for use on porous or non-porous surfaces.

Classification

The opaque stencil inks shall be of the following types:

Type I – For use on non-porous surfaces (non-pressurized containers)
Type II – For use on porous surfaces (non-pressurized containers)
Type III – For use on porous and non-porous surfaces (pressurized containers)

Surface Preparation:

Surface must be clean, dry and free of all contamination before application of coating. Prime per specification requirements and/or recommendations.

Application:

Apply by brush, roller, or spray methods. For brush and roll, thin, if necessary, with Xylene at 10% by volume. For spray application, thin with MIL-T-81772B Ty. III Thinner at approximately 10-15% by volume or as needed for proper atomization based on spray equipment being used.

All Fed-STd 595C. The comparison of the color of the sample ink with that of the specified color chip of FED-STD-595 is by visual inspection, conducted in the manner: Apply a film of the sample ink at complete hiding to a non-popous panel and allow to dry completely. Place beside the standard of specified color chip and compare visually under illumination in accordance with method 4250 of FED-STD-141.
