Cold Application Corrosion Preventative Compound, Solvent Cutback

This specification covers solvent-despersed corrosion preventive compounds that deposit thin, easily removable films after solvent evaporation.

Class I-High VOC exceeding 2.8 lbs. per gallon (340 grams/liter)

Class II-Low VOC not exceeding 2.8 lbs. per gallon (340 grams/liter)

Grade 1: A black hard drying film for external finished machine parts.

Grade 2: A Soft, greasy film that provides undercover protection for metal surfaces on machines, instruments, and bearings.

Grade 3: An oil- like, water displacing film used on machinery, instruments, and bare steel.

Grade 4: Provides a non-tack, transparent surface for general purpose indoor/outdoor protection where handling, stacking or counting is required.

Grade 5: Low pressure steam removable film.

*Class I is available in pints, quarts, gallons, 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
