  • This MIL-C-46168 specification covers both camouflage and noncamouflage, chemical agent resistant, aliphatic polyurethane coating for use as a finish coat on military combat equipment. This chemical resistant coating can be used in areas covered by air pollution regulations. This specification is canceled. Refer to MIL-DTL-53039 or MIL-DTL-64159 Aliphatic Polyurethane Camouflage Coating.

  • This MIL-DTL-53022 specification covers a flash drying, corrosion inhibiting epoxy primer for ferrous and nonferrous substrates. This lead and chromate free epoxy primer meets the air pollution requirements for solvent emissions.

  • The MIL-DTL-53030 covers the requirements for a water based, air-drying, corrosion-inhibiting, epoxy type primer for pretreated ferrous and nonferrous metals. The primer is lead and chromate free and is compatible with chemical agent resistant aliphatic polyurethane topcoats. The primer contains no more than 2.8 pounds/gallon (lbs/gal) (340 grams/liter (g/l) of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and is hazardous air pollutants-free (HAP-free), as applied.

  • This specification covers single component, polymeric flattened, chemical agent resistant, aliphatic polyurethane coating for use as a finish coat on military tactical equipment, which includes ground, aviation and related support assets. Other than where noted, the materials are free of volatile organic hazardous air pollutants (VOHAP-free), free of inorganic hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) other than cobalt and non-hexavalent chromium. The coating is lead, cadmium, cadmium compounds and hexavalent chromium free.

  • This MIL-DTL-64159 specification covers water-dispersible, polymeric flattened, chemical agent resistant, aliphatic polyurethane camouflage coatings for use as a finish coat on all military tactical equipment, which includes ground, aviation and related support assets. The materials are free of volatile organic hazardous air pollutants (VOHAP-free), free of inorganic hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) other than cobalt and non-hexavalent chromium, and have a maximum volatile organic compound (VOC) content of 220 grams/liter (g/l) (1.8 pounds/gallon (lbs/gal)) as packaged.
