About Us

We began in 1978 with the goal of formulating, manufacturing, packaging and private labeling chemicals for car dealers and the automotive aftermarket. Within three years, we had private-labeled 37 brands of rustproofing, paint and fabric sealants. In addition, we helped create marketing programs at the automotive OEM level. An array of products were private-labeled into automotive, aviation, marine and general industry markets.

Expanding the business with the GSA and government, we offered hundreds of other military specification products, including paints, corrosion preventives, lubricants, adhesives, cleaners and waxes and polishes. We simultaneously developed many proprietary products for the military such as rubber preservatives, polishes, tile adhesives, water treatment salt, and corrosion preventives.

In 1992, we set out to sell the 600 plus military specifications to FBOs (Flight Based Operators), government bases and agencies, aviation and defense companies, and industrial companies involved in government work. Chemsol's mission is to provide any specification quickly, properly and with quality.

Our product experience and technical knowledge are constantly tested and held with respect. Over the years, we have clearly matured and made many friends such as Sherwin Williams. They have embraced Chemsol and listed its products as a prime military specification source.

At Chemsol, the trust of our customers is our greatest reward. As we provide products for airplanes, motorized vehicles and other critical components, we realize that it has to be done right, or it is not done. Chemsol's word is its bond; it is that simple.
